NICE's design competition

16. Dec 2009 Want to take a look at the wonderful and sustainable creations that 20 Nordic designers presented during the Fashion Summit in Copenhagen and learn more about the designers? Including, of course, the winner, Finnish Saara...

Enjoy these fantastic creations from 20 Nordic new gen designers who got to play with textiles furnished by C.L.A.S.S., one of the Fashion Summit's sponsors. The jury had a hard time deciding on a winner, but finally landed on a decision, which was announced by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary, who also handed over a check for 50.000 DKK to a happy Saara, from H&M.  We present the designers by country...

Danish designers:

David Andersen
David graduated with a BA Hons degree from Glasgow school of art in 2003. He has been designing under his own name for 4 years. His collection are featured in Birger Christensen in Copenhagen, Gate One in Stockholm, Margreet Olsthoorn in Netherlands, Maximum in Oslo, Plagg in Paris, and GK in Reykjavik.

Louise Amstrup

Louise graduated from AMD in Düsseldorf in 2006. Following her education she worked two years for Alexander McQueen. Since 2006 she has been designing under her own name.
